A new hope

Craig from the opposition to the Red Bridge Road project (go there now and give them your support) told me something I didn't know. A good something.

If we get a petition signed by 100 registered voters we can force them to put this ordinance on hold for a month while we circulate a referendum petition. This will put a new council in office and most of the evil one will have slunk away. (Except Riley whom I'm not likely to forgive for directly lieing to me)

I'm drawing up the petition today and we will have it out this weekend. If you want to sign here's where we will be.

David will be playing near the Cheesecake Factory this Friday and Saturday weather permitting.
James will be playing guitar in Westport Friday, Saturday & Sunday. Again weather permitting.
Dan will be making balloons at (Friday) Fun House Pizza in Lee's Summit 6-7, TGIFriday's in Independence 7:30 - 9, most of the clubs in Westport 10 -3. (Saturday) IHOP in Independence 9-1, TGIFriday's in Independence 6-8, clubs in Westport 10 - 3 (Sunday) Leawood Easter Egg hunt 11-2.
Stacey I will be doing my thing at (Saturday) Kansas City Youth Jazz Band 9-12, Collecting signatures outside of the RiverMarket 1-3, (Sunday) Leawood Easter Egg hunt 11-2, Deanna Rose 2:45-5, Plaza 6-9.
Ron the monkeyman will be in Westport Friday Saturday evenings.

There are a few others, but I don't know their schedules yet. The clock is ticking. We have 10 days from yesterday to get the signatures. 100 is required, but we will need more than that to ensure that everyone is a voter and even if they throw some out, we still have enough.

Make sure you double the amount of signatures...just in case you have people sign who are not registered properly or who sign under a bunk name. I will try to catch up with you, with a signature of my own, at one of those places you have noted.

I'll track down either David or James. I see that some of these people will be in other areas of town - -be sure to only get registered KCMO voters. I may bring a whole group out just to sign. This is such crap.

It's mostly Dan & I that are in other parts of town. We know to be extra careful, since many of the people we see are not from KC.

Riley is a liar. He has lied to me and everyone I talk to has the same experience.

He's a politician, but even by that standard, he is a liar.

He is also psycho and a master at playing the victim while actually being the aggressor.

I hope I can track one of you down. Keep up the fight!
