Second Sunday

The Crossroads district has a monthly event called First Friday. Basically the galleries are all open and people come out to look around.

Our type of art does not really lend itself to studios and galleries, but that doesn't mean we don't have anything interesting to show off too. We could all head down and take part in First Friday, but I thought it would be cooler to have a day of our own, where the focus is on us and what we do.
Introducing Second Sunday. The second Sunday of every month, weather permitting, we will hold an informal gathering of street artists. Our first gathering will be at Mill Creek Park, sometime around 3:30PM. We don't know who will come, but if the weather is as beautiful as they predict, someone will be there. Balloon artists, musicians, jugglers, magicians, living statues, dancers - There's a lot of interesting performers in KC and that makes for a fun afternoon.
