I want to thank everyone who has been supportive of our efforts. We're not done yet, but thank yous don't have to come after something is said and done with. The community support is what has kept our movement alive otherwise we would have been finished a long time ago. A special thanks to the bloggers who keep the discussion alive which keeps the publics attention focused on it. (Beth from The Flogging of America even showed up and gave some great advice. We're artists, not activists, so advice is always welcome. If you have any, send it - we're listening)
We have the first 100 signatures for our petition, so the rest of the week we will be focused on getting the next couple of hundred, just to allow for any problems. I have posted a list on the sidebar of where people will be. Two things not in the list
Dan Krulewich is a teacher at Central high school. If you teach in the KCMO school district, contact him and he will be happy to get your signature.
I will be at City Hall tomorrow at 2 for yet another planning, zoning & economics committee meeting. My issue is dead to the committee, but they're still trying to railroad others. I always have a copy of the petition on me, so if you're in the area you can find me there.
A side note.
Cheeseburger Jerry annoys the heck out of people. Google his name and you'll find any number of rants on him. He's a pain, I'll admit that, but I found out something yesterday that's kinda interesting. He's registered to vote and DOES. That makes this money grubbing, pain in the ass more responsible than 73% of the registered voters in Kansas City. Next time you feel to lazy to vote, think about the fact that even Jerry votes and then get your rear over to the polls.

★Stacey K Best wishes for you? … :)!
You probably know this and found Jerry this way...but go to this page and look in the bottem left corner. You can check the sigs on your petition to make sure they're registered voters by entering the last name and street name (name only, no numbers or "St", "Terr").
